Dix Lee’On,  at it’s annual Association meeting on April 14, 2016, welcomed as its guest speaker, Sheriff Barry Babb. Sheriff Babb was accompanied by his wife, Jill, and key members of his staff, Public Information Officer, Allen Stevens, and Crime Investigative Division head, Major Tommy Pope. Sheriff Babb opened our meeting by giving our community high marks for Community crime prevention, stating that we remain one of the safest neighborhoods in all of Fayette County in 2015. Allen Stevens, Public Information officer,  indicated our crime rate for 2015 was at “O” crime, meaning we had no crime in our neighborhood in 2015. Mr. Stevens contributed our community’s crime success rate to our “Neighborhood Watch Program“, and went on to say that we are one of the most organized communities in the county. Major Tommy Pope gave us additional assurance, by demonstrating a crime reports app that we can gain access to, and that his crime investigations division will continue to work with us and assist us in whatever way they can to ensure we remain one of the safest neighborhoods in Fayette County. The entire staff then joined in on our community discussion on Safety and SecurityOur Community theme for 2016 , providing valuable insight. We thank Sheriff Babb and his organization for their continued support of our community, appreciate their commitment to the Safety and Security of our community, and we look forward to working with this group of dynamic individuals in the future. We know we are in good hands with this team on our side!!!
